 Raziel Tsur

Raziel  specializes in playing a variety of styles: Classical music, World music, Jazz and Folk music.

He began his Mandolin studies at age 8 with the teacher and conductor Benjamin Bilski and with Prof. Moti Shmit at the Jerusalem

Academy of Music.

He is the general manger of the Israeli Plectrum Orchestra and he serves as the musical director and conductor of the Youth Israeli Plectrum Orchestra.

He is a leading mandolin Instructor, giving courses to mandolin teachers at the Ministry of Education.

Raziel regulary perform as a soloist with orchestras and different

ensembles in Israel, he performed as a soloist in important fesivals around the world with different ensembles all over Europe,United States and Israel.
He plays in the "Israeli Plectrum Orchestra" and serves as a concertmaster, performed with the orchestra as a soloist, winning first prize at the "Culture" Festival in Poland.

Raziel founded the “Dolce Mandolin Quartet” and serves as the first mandolin.
He plays in several ensembles with a different styles: music from Portugal and Brazil along with Italian and Greek music. 

Raziel dedicate his work for mandolin teaching, taking care for the next generation, serves as a music coordinator in the "Schools Music" project at the "Symphony" music center in Rosh Ha'ayin, as part of the position he is the conductor of the Mandolin Orchestras throughout the city.
Raziel gives master classes for students who are preparing for final exams in music, playing mandolin

He is currently studying "Orchestral Conducting" courses at the "Rimon"  Music School, under the direction of the conductors Roni Porat

and Yaron Gottfried.
